Azle ISD was honored to have State Representative Glenn Rogers visit Hornet Stadium last night for the pre-game coin toss before the Azle Hornet Football team took on the Denton Broncos. 🏈💚
Dr. Glenn Rogers is a 6th generation rancher and veterinarian from Graford. He is serving his 2nd term in the Texas House of Representatives, representing Parker, Palo Pinto, and Stephens County. He serves on the Natural Resources Committee, the Land and Resources Management Committee as Vice Chair, and the Local and Consent Calendar Committee. Throughout his time in office, he has been a staunch supporter of rural conservative values and public education. Dr. Rogers has been recognized at the state level as a true champion for public education.

Azle ISD held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Azle Junior High on September 16, along with BTC Construction and VLK Architects, Inc.! We are excited to have the opportunity to build a new AJH on the existing school site from 1953 as a result of the Nov. 2023 Bond. 💚 The new campus should be completed by summer 2026 and will accommodate grades 6-8. #WeAreAzle #HornetPride
