At the June 16 Azle ISD Board meeting, Azle ISD Police Chief Darren Brockway had the honor of presenting Sergeant Steve Holland with the Police Life Saving Award.
Holland was nominated for this special award by the City of Azle Police Department after several officers witnessed him jump into action with no hesitation and ultimately save a life. 💙

We are excited to celebrate the Azle High School Class of 2025 this evening at the Fort Worth Convention Center! 👏💚
Our Hornets take the stage at 5 p.m. (Grads check in at 4 p.m.) Attendees are encouraged to allow extra time for their drive due to road construction and parking downtown.
Azle ISD is providing FREE meals this summer for kids age 18 and under! Meals will be served Monday–Thursday at the following locations.
• June 2- June 30 (Monday-Thursday): Walnut Creek Elementary - Breakfast from 8:30-9:30 a.m. & Lunch from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
• June 2- June 30 (Monday-Thursday): Squiggly Park - Lunch ONLY from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
• July 7-31 (Monday-Thursday): Squiggly Park - Lunch ONLY from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
All meals are free to anyone age 18 or younger. Participant must be on site to receive meal. Adults may purchase a meal for $4.00 cash.
