Tuesday was an incredible day for our Practicum of Construction students! They had the amazing opportunity to get hands-on training at a crane yard to apply toward their crane rigging certification. The knowledge and skills they gained are invaluable and will undoubtedly help shape their careers in construction and engineering.
Huge shoutout to the team at the crane yard for their support and guidance. We're grateful for your commitment to educating and mentoring the next generation.

During School Bus Safety Week (October 16-20, 2023), the Azle ISD Transportation Department conducted school bus evacuation drills at our elementary campuses. More than 3,500 students learned about and practiced school bus safety throughout the week! #WeAreAzle

Azle Athletics is now using Hudl instead of NFHS to live-stream games. For the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year, Hudl will be free for Hornet fans. There will be no subscription fees until the 2024-2025 school year. Download the Hudl fan app from your app store to begin watching!

Eagle Heights Elementary celebrated its first annual HERITAGE DAY today! Students were able to dress up to represent their family's lineage and learn about other traditions and cultures. #WeAreAzle


Azle High School seniors Brendon Devillier and Kyler Akers are currently putting their FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot Licenses to good use working for Steele & Freeman, Inc. as part of the practicum program at AHS. This is just one of many great CTE programs we have to prepare students for the workforce in Azle ISD!


Azle High School's Marching Green Pride DOMINATED at the UIL Region Marching Contest on Tuesday, October 10! The MGP received all 1s and advanced to AREA which will be held on Saturday, October 28, at Birdville. Way to go, MGP!


Azle High School's Hornet Tennis Team are BI-DISTRICT CHAMPS! They defeated South Hills 15-4 to advance to the second round of Playoffs! Way to go, Hornets!


National School Lunch Week (NSLW) is October 9-13, 2023. This annual event serves as a nationwide celebration of the National School Lunch Program, a cornerstone of student nutrition. This year's theme, "Level Up with School Lunch," underscores the significance of nourishing meals in enhancing a student's academic success and overall well-being.
