On October 27, we officially kicked off our inaugural Superintendent Advisory Council meetings, hosted by Superintendent Todd Smith and Assistant Superintendent Jessica Hanson!
The 2026-27 Student Advisory Council and Staff Advisory Council both had great first meetings. We appreciate their enthusiasm, confidence, and willingness to contribute.
Meeting at least twice each school year at the Azle ISD Administration Building, these councils provide a direct platform for members to share what is working well, discuss areas for growth, and actively shape the future of our district.
We are eager to listen, learn, and collaborate with these outstanding representatives as we work together to keep Azle ISD moving forward!
A President's Council will also begin meeting this year, bringing together leaders from our booster clubs, campus PTOs, the Azle Education Foundation, the Azle Area Chamber of Commerce, and local civic organizations (Optimist Club, Rotary, Lions Club, and AAMA) supporting Azle ISD students, staff, and schools.
