Azle ISD is excited to offer a tuition-based Prekindergarten program beginning the 2026-2027 school year! Tuition-based Prekindergarten is a full-day program for students who are four years old by September 1 and do not qualify for free, state-funded Prekindergarten or Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE). Campus placement will be determined by the completion of a campus selection form, online registration, and campus availability. A deposit of $600 is required and will be credited to the last month’s payment. The annual tuition is $6,000, and payment plans are outlined in the tuition agreement. Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) funds are accepted for the tuition-based Prekindergarten program in Azle ISD.
Tuition-based Prekindergarten seats are offered at every elementary school, except Eagle Heights Elementary. The Prekindergarten program will follow the Azle ISD school calendar. School day hours are 7:35 a.m.- 3:15 p.m., with drop-off as early as 7:10 a.m. Breakfast and lunch are available at an extra charge, or a child may bring a sack lunch from home. No district transportation is provided.
To receive the full benefit of the Prekindergarten program, students need to be in attendance every day for class. Once you have enrolled your child in school, they are expected to attend school as required under the Compulsory Attendance Law.

All initial deposits are due by July 21, 2026, to secure your spot. Cash and check payments can be made in person at 301 Church Street. Payments by card can be made online through RevTrak, and there will be a service charge of 4.16%.
An original birth certificate must be shown in person by July 21, 2026. This can be brought to the Administration Building at 301 Church Street, Monday-Thursday, from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
