Throughout his career, he helped orchestrate some of the top offenses in the nation, coached a Gatorade Player of the Year, helped develop dozens of student-athletes who went on to play collegiate football, and was a member of District Coaching Staffs of the Year on four separate occasions.

Coach Rigg began his collegiate playing career at the University of Missouri before finishing his career and graduating from Culver-Stockton College.

He and his wife, Lizzy, have been married for five years and are expecting their first son in February 2026. The couple is excited to become part of the Azle community.

“I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to serve at Azle ISD,” said Rigg. “This is a wonderful community with a strong tradition, and I am excited for my family and I to become a part of it. My goal is to help develop young men into strong leaders while competing at a championship level.”
