Azle ISD would like to welcome Dr. Stephanie β€œStevi” Norris as the new principal for Forte Junior High. She will replace William Manley, who is transitioning to a new role for the 2025-2026 school year.

Dr. Norris comes to Azle from the Education Service Center, where she has worked as a teacher certification specialist since 2022. With 14 years of service in public education, she has served as a junior high teacher and coach, testing coordinator, and assistant principal.

She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas A&M University, a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Doctorate in Curriculum, Instruction, and Leadership from the University of Louisiana Monroe.

Dr. Norris lives in Fort Worth with her husband, Dylan, who works as a freight analyst, and their 12-year-old son, Max. She enjoys reading, traveling, and watching Aggie sports with her family.

β€œI’m honored to join the community at Forte Junior High,” said Dr. Norris. "Junior high is a time of big growth, big emotions, and big potentialβ€”and I absolutely love being part of that journey. I’m excited to bring energy, heart, and a little fun to Forte Junior High as we build strong relationships and create a school culture where everyone feels known, supported, and inspired to succeed. Let's make it a great year at FJH!"

β€œI look forward to the energy and passion Dr. Norris will bring to Forte Junior High,” said Superintendent Todd Smith. "She joins Azle ISD with experience in teaching and administration at the junior high level, along with extensive knowledge in student achievement and developing teachers. I am excited about the opportunities for FJH under her leadership.”
