Parent Responsibilities
Ensure regular school attendance and arrive at school on time
Encourage a positive attitude towards school and learning
Create a quiet workplace for my child to complete homework assignments
Be available to assist with homework and check for understanding
Expect my child to conduct themselves in a manner that is appropriate to their age level
Work with teacher and child when concerns arise
Sign and return all papers that require a parent or guardian’s signature
Attend parent-teacher conferences
Student Responsibilities
Do my best every day
Complete work neatly, completely, and on time
Comply with school rules
Respect the rights and property of others
Show respect to my parents, school staff, and other students
School Responsibilities
Provide a high-quality education to all students
Assign homework according to campus and district policy
Encourage students to do their best
Give positive corrective feedback
Communicate with parents regularly on the progress of their child
Offer updates on the School’s website, through Thrillshare messages, Newsletter, and Facebook page
Provide translation of written notifications and interpreters at parent conferences, parent meetings, and training sessions (as needed)
Show positive attitudes toward students, parents, school and community
Respect cultural, racial, and ethnic differences
