Nondiscrimination Notice

Azle ISD Parents/Guardians:

Azle ISD hereby gives public notice that the District assures full compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities.

Title VI prohibits the District from discriminating based on race, color, or national origin in its programs and activities. Azle ISD prohibits student-on-student racial harassment that creates a hostile environment and will respond appropriately to reports of harassment, including harassment based on race, color, or national origin, to determine if a hostile environment exists. Examples of possible harassment can include, at a minimum, offensive touching, jokes, name-calling, slurs, gestures, and symbols. Azle ISD promptly investigates complaints and those found in violation may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including, expulsion and/or termination.

The Azle ISD Student Handbook and Azle ISD Board Policy FFH (LEGAL) and FFH (LOCAL) provide information regarding policies and procedures for maintaining a school environment free from discrimination and harassment. Any person, group of persons, or their authorized representative may file a discrimination complaint with Azle ISD.

To report a complaint, please contact campus administration where your child attends.
