On Tuesday, December 17, Azle ISD and Tarleton State University welcomed nine new teacher residents to our district! Each of our teacher residents will begin in January 2025 and will be paired with cooperating teachers at Cross Timbers, Eagle Heights, Hilltop, and Silver Creek Elementary Schools. 💚💜
They will begin their year-long residency with their cooperating teachers in January and complete the program in December 2025 to become certified teachers. 👏 Let’s give them all a big Azle ISD welcome!

During School Bus Safety Week (October 16-20, 2023), the Azle ISD Transportation Department conducted school bus evacuation drills at our elementary campuses. More than 3,500 students learned about and practiced school bus safety throughout the week! #WeAreAzle
