Get to Know the Director

Tosha Carroll has a Bachelor of Arts from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Her first experience working with youth came through a two-year college internship with the Chickasaw Nation, where she worked as a tutor and academic advisor for the Chickasaw Children’s Village.

Tosha has been working in Texas public education since 2018. For six years, she served as the Site Coordinator and Program Manager of afterschool grant programs across DFW providing safe spaces, academic intervention, high-impact tutoring, and enrichment for grades K-6th.  For school years 2022-2024, Tosha served as the Program Manager for Azle ISD’s grant-funded afterschool program, Hornet DEPOT.

In addition to working in education, Ms. Carroll also has four years of experience as a foster care case manager and supervisor, working with children ages newborn-18yrs, treatment planning and connecting foster/adoptive children and families with needed services.  

Tosha states: “I love working with the students and families in Azle. The culture in this district is one to be cherished! I am excited to be serving the district staff and their ‘littles’ as the director of the childcare center.”
