The AHS Indoor Drumline placed 1st at the NTCA Burleson show, beating out stiff competition, and scoring over 80 points! Azle Varsity Winter Guard took 2nd place in their first Winter Guard International (WGI) Regional Competition in Dallas. The winter guard program has not qualified for finals at this regional since 2018.
44 color guards across the DFW competed in preliminary competition and only 20 qualified for finals. This is the most competitive color guard contest in the country up to this point of the season. Competition will continue to get steeper as they progress through the rest of the WGI World Championships Track.

JAZZ, HIP-HOP, and POM routines were performed.⭐ The officers performed a CONTEMPORARY routine and the following 4 soloists competed, Daytona Gravlin, Denali Rubio, Bailey Smith, and Caitlin Sanders.

⭐Varsity team placed 1st and received the highest score of the day across all captions and all classifications.
