Azle ISD Athletics is pleased to announce Hornet Alum Seth Bell as the new head boys wrestling coach, replacing Tyler Harrison, who is moving into an assistant principal role for 2026-2027.
Coach Bell served as a head wrestling coach for boys and girls teams at Eaton High School from 2023 to 2026, leading successful programs with several state appearances and earning coach of the year recognition multiple times. Prior to his time at Eaton, Bell worked at Azle High School as an assistant football and wrestling coach.
"I am excited about the opportunity to continue the legacy of great wrestling in Azle," said Bell. "I am ready to invest in the program that invested in me, and am honored to carry on the mantle that the Allens and Tyler Harrison have passed on to me. I am also thrilled to work with Jayson Conger and his staff at Azle."
