Marisa Flowers AHS head girls soccer coach

Azle ISD Athletics is excited to announce Marisa Flowers as the new head girls soccer coach at Azle High School.

Coach Flowers comes to Azle ISD from Royse City ISD, where she has served as the head girls soccer coach at Royse City High School since 2022. She has coached soccer and taught mathematics for the last five years, including teaching Honors Algebra I and Geometry, and served as the mathematics department head for the last three years at Royse City HS.

She played varsity soccer at Royse City, club soccer for Andromeda FC, and collegiate soccer at Texas Woman’s University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development.

"I'm excited to join the Azle ISD family," said Flowers."I am looking forward to being in the growing community of Azle and am enthusiastic about the opportunity to continue growing the Azle girls' soccer program."
