Azle ISD will open on time tomorrow (January 16, 2024), and buses will run according to their normal schedule. Please make sure students dress warm, especially those who ride the bus. Buildings will open early so that no one will be waiting outside for doors to open.
Our maintenance department checked on all of our campuses today, and we will have our buses and buildings warmed up and ready to welcome everyone back in the morning.

Forte Junior High is now a Heart Safe School through Cook Children’s Project Adam. Project ADAM's mission is to educate schools, nurses, coaches, trainers, parents, and community organizations about sudden cardiac death. The program provides free cardiac emergency preparedness resources and training to schools nationwide.
School-based CPR and AED programs establish a community of first responders. First responders improve the likelihood of survival for students, school staff, and visitors with sudden cardiac arrest, and should be encouraged in all schools.
Forte will receive a banner soon to display proudly on their building. Our goal is to have all of Azle ISD schools recognized as a Project ADAM Texas Heart Safe School this school year.

Pearl Harbor Day, December 7, 1941, was called the “date that will live in infamy,” by President Franklin Roosevelt and marked the United States' formal entrance into World War II. Today marks the 82nd anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor that claimed the lives of more than 2,400 Americans and wounded another 1,100. #PearlHarborRemembranceDay
