Azle ISD Bond Proposal - November 2, 2021 Unofficial Election Results

View Azle ISD November 2, 2021 bond proposal unofficial election results by county.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the November election. Proposition A passed with 2,541 (54.98%) votes for and 2,081 (45.02%) votes against. Proposition B failed with 2,168 (47%) votes for and 2,445 (53%) votes against.

Proposition A allocates $24.084 million that will allow us the opportunity to address needs at Azle High School by expanding the cafeteria, upgrading restrooms and cafeteria food service areas, renovating and expanding science labs, and expanding the welding program instructional shop.

Proposition B would have allocated $25.806 million to expanding instructional and performance space for fine arts, improving safety and technology features in our fine arts facilities, renovating and expanding locker rooms, and ensuring adequate injury treatment and rehabilitation space for all student-athletes.

The needs identified in Proposition B, as well as other district needs, remain. We will continue to move forward and develop plans to address our current needs and the challenges associated with the district’s rapid growth while remaining good stewards of Azle ISD tax dollars.

As we move forward, I encourage you to remain positive and celebrate our accomplishments. Our commitment and dedication to the students in Azle ISD and their respective programs remain a priority and we will continue to do what we do best, taking care of students!

We are grateful to our community for supporting this effort to provide updated educational facilities for our students.
Thank You, Voters
