2020-21 Azle ISD Employee Awards and Retirements

Celebrations took place across the district on Friday, May 28. District Teachers of the Year and Heart of Azle award recipients for 2020-2021 were announced, service pins were awarded for employees with longevity in the district, and retirees were presented with a plaque and rocking chair. Keri Dorris from Azle High School was named the 2020-21 Secondary Teacher of the Year and Kallie Roy from Azle Elementary was named the Elementary Teacher of the Year. Keri and Kallie each received a $1,000 continuing education grant and $500 from the Azle Education Foundation!
