Principal Named for Silver Creek Elementary

As we prepare for the final days of school this year, I have some exciting news to share with you! I am pleased to announce that Mrs. Carolyn Flemming has been named the new principal of Silver Creek Elementary School. Currently serving as a campus administrator at Culver Elementarycarolyn flemming standing in front of brick wall in Lamar CISD, Flemming brings more than 15 years of experience in public school education, with the last five of those spent in school administration. 

Flemming began her career as a teacher in Denton ISD. She has held various positions including teacher, instructional coach, ARD facilitator, junior high assistant principal, summer school principal, and elementary assistant principal. 

Flemming earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in Education Administration. She is married to Oschlor and they have two children, Brayden and Tatum. 

Mrs. Flemming is student-centered and dedicated to building relationships with staff and the community as she serves alongside them to continue leading Silver Creek in a positive direction. She is passionate about working collaboratively to ensure that students receive the very best educational experience possible. 

Mrs. Flemming will begin transitioning to Silver Creek in the coming weeks and a community meet-and-greet with parents will be scheduled soon. I hope you will make plans to join us in welcoming Mrs. Flemming to SCE and Azle ISD!
