Free Meals Available for Anyone 18 or Younger Beginning November 9

Beginning on Monday, November 9, Azle ISD’s Student Nutrition Department will now offer free meals to anyone 18 or younger through the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year.

The US Department of Agriculture has issued a nationwide waiver allowing Azle ISD and SFE, the District’s food services provider, the ability to serve free breakfasts and lunches to all students. Tray lunches will consist of protein, grain, fruit, and vegetable options. Please note that this special free meal program does not include a la carte items such as snacks, ice cream, drinks, etc. A la carte items will still be available for purchase.

Free meals will also be available to remote learners via curbside pick-up at Azle High School between 10:00-10:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.

Families who qualify for free or reduced meal benefits are encouraged to continue to fill out the application at https://www.azleisd.net/Page/615.
