This year Azle High School offered “Adulting 101” sessions for the seniors while the other students were taking the PSAT test. Seniors were divided into groups of 30 and they spent 25 minutes in 11 different sessions learning about many different types of life skills. The sessions included a presentation by the National Guard, self-care, dorm room gourmet, home repairs, Law 101, financial aid, money basics, how to get the job, CPR, car repairs and important senior class information. Courses were taught by AHS faculty, district personnel, and college/business representatives. The seniors learned many “Adulting” skills for their future and the program was a huge success!
