Azle Independent School District is a K-12 public school district located in north Texas. The district encompasses 95 square miles, including portions of Tarrant, Parker, and Wise counties, and serves the incorporated cities of Azle, Lakeside, Pelican Bay, Reno, and Sanctuary. The area is bordered by two beautiful lakes, Lake Worth to the south and Eagle Mountain Lake to the east. Approximately 20 miles northwest of downtown Fort Worth, Azle is a small town with the conveniences of the big city.
Azle ISD is a district in which students, educators, and the community collaborate to create an engaging educational environment that promotes life-long learning. The district is dedicated to providing a world-class education for the students of our community. "It makes a difference to this ONE" is the motto of Azle ISD.
Azle ISD educates approximately 6,800 students on 12 campuses. The district integrates new and emerging technologies into our classrooms and provides technology devices for all students in grades K-12 to facilitate 21st-century learning and teach digital citizenship and internet safety.
