Dr. Rochelle Kaempf
Hello! I'm Dr. Kaempf!
I am the dyslexia/ELL specialist at Hoover Elementary. Teaching is an absolute passion of mine! I'm so excited to work with you and your child! It's going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventures! I cannot wait to see what the year has in store for us! I thought you might like to know a little bit about me!
I grew up in Azle. I love that I have the opportunity to teach in the community in which I was raised. Being able to give back to the community I love is a very rewarding experience. While in high school, I played the clarinet in the Marching Green Pride! I was also a PAL. I graduated from Azle High School in 2007. After graduation, I went to the University of North Texas and graduated in 2012 with my BA in Education. Soon after graduation, I went back to schoool and earned my master's in Education from Texas Wesleyan and graduated in 2014. I decided that I just had not done enough school and went back to earn my doctorate. In 2018, I graduted with my Doctorate of Education from Texas Weselyan. Some hobbies that I enjoy are traveling, reading, shopping at Target, going to Texas Rangers baseball games, and spending time with my family & friends.
This will be my eighth year teaching in Azle ISD. Before coming to Hoover, I taught 3rd and 4th grade at Walnut Creek. Reading is a passion of mine. I'm so excited to work with your child and help them to discover their own love of reading. I absolutely love teaching! It's my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I attempt to teach with a passion for all subjects so that my students develop a desire to become life-long learners. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. It is so important to keep communication open between us. I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need. I look forward to a great year together!
