Teaching was something I knew I wanted to do from a very early age. My enthusiasm and love for school was fostered by some pretty incredible teachers that not only loved but encouraged and inspired me to reach my full potential by providing an enriching, nurturing, and safe environment. I believe that all children should have the opportunity to learn and grow in such an environment. The teaching of young minds is a task that we, as educators, should not take lightly. My goal as a teacher is to not only educate but motivate and inspire students to value learning.

I joined the Liberty Elementary Family in 2005. Since coming to Liberty, I have taught 4th grade and Title I Reading Classes for 1st and 2nd grades. In my current position,  I am one of Liberty's Dyslexia Specialists, as well as, a Grand Central Station Learning Lab teacher. I love being a part of the Liberty Family and look forward to a fantastic year!
