Hi! I am a wife to a handsome hubby (Azle Alumni class of '96) and mom of two super sweet Hornet boys. We were born and raised in Texas, and we recently moved back after a few years in Kansas City where we acquired a LOVE for the Chiefs and the best BBQ in the nation. We have two super cute labs. I love to discover, ask questions, and solve problems. I also love bugs, spiders, and plants and can tell you the name of almost anything.

This is my 13th year in education. I have a degree in English Lit, and just finished my Master's in Educational Leadership from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. Pitt is the ONLY school in the nation with a Gorilla for a mascot. His name is Gus, by the way.

My degree is in English, but my teaching background is in Science, Math, and bilingual education, and I speak fluent Spanish. This is my first year to actually put my English degree to use! I can't wait to spend the year on a learning adventure with you!
