Welcome! I am so excited to be back at Azle High School for my 5th year. I grew up here in Azle and taught math for a few years at the high school before moving around the country with my family. Being a military wife, I have had the opportunity to experience education across the country. I taught and tutored mathematics at Jefferson Community College in Watertown, NY for 3 years where I taught Developmental Math and Statistics. Most recently, I served as the Administrator for Central Texas College's Online High School in Fort Hood, TX for three years and taught 6th-grade math at Azle Elementary for two years.
I have two wonderful kiddos, Emma (8) and Jasper (6). They are excited to be a part of our community and love being Hornets! My husband is still proudly serving in the United States Army. In my free time, I really enjoy working out on my Peloton and lifting weights. My second love is volunteering as a coach for both of my kids' teams. I am excited to be back home and get back into the classroom where my heart truly is, and where I feel that I can make the largest impact. I am looking forward to an exciting year here at Azle High School and fostering the students' love for math. Go Hornets!
