Ms. April "Tenille" Williams
This will be my fifth year teaching at Azle High School. I am very excited to be teaching Professional Communication and Leadworthy. I am also the Advisor for The Hornet Yearbook, Advisor for PALs, and the Advisor for National Honor Society. I am a graduate of Tarleton State University where I received my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, as well as both of my Master's degrees - the first in Management and Leadership and the second in Human Resource Management. I am looking forward to this year at Azle High School!
Grading Guidelines
Daily work: 60% Exams/Quizzes: 40%
If you are absent, you will find the work on Canvas. In my bitmoji classroom, there is a folder labeled "find work here". You will find a daily schedule with links to all assignments.
If you are absent for an exam or quiz, you must come to tutorials to make up this grade. TESTS & QUIZZES WILL NOT BE ADMINISTERED ON CANVAS.
Student Expectations
-
- Students are accountable for all assignments, including class participation, turning in work on time, and makeup work.
- Students must communicate with the teacher when they are absent or concerned about grades. All students must contact the teacher within the same week; if there is no communication within the same week of the assignment, the grade will not be changed.
- Students must be respectful and considerate to everyone.
- Cell phones must be out of sight while the teacher is talking or teaching. If this becomes an issue, cell phone privileges will be taken.
- If tardy, students must have a tardy pass to enter class.
Tutorials:
Wednesday 8:00-8:30 a.m. and 4:00-4:45 p.m.
