2021-2022 Azle ISD Health/Safety COVID Protocols

  • Azle ISD remains committed to keeping our students and staff safe and healthy. The district has updated the COVID-19 mitigation protocols for employees and students for the 2021-22 school year and will continue to monitor guidance from governmental agencies, including Tarrant and Parker County Public Health. We will communicate any updates or modifications as necessary. Student and staff safety will always remain a top priority of Azle ISD.

By Executive Order 38 of the Governor of Texas, Azle ISD may not require masks to be worn. Azle ISD is required to follow recommended guidelines provided by the Texas Education Agency.

Self-monitoring and self-health awareness are key for a safe return to benefit all students and staff. The wearing of a mask is recommended. Please consider wearing a mask for your own protection and for the protection of others.

The information on this page reflects current practices in Azle ISD schools and facilities. Health and safety remain a top priority, and the district continues to practice measures to minimize the spread of illness through enhanced cleaning protocols, frequent hand washing, and other personal health protections.

All information on this site will be reviewed and updated as needed to reflect new requirements from federal, state, or county orders; or the Texas Education Agency.
