The health and safety of our students and staff is a top priority while providing the high-quality education expected from our schools. District leaders are closely monitoring decisions from Governor Abbott's office and county health officials, as well as recommendations from the Texas Education Agency (TEA). In addition, Azle ISD has assembled a Return to School District Task Force to assist in designing plans to support both in-person and remote instruction.
Azle ISD believes there is no substitute for in-person instruction but due to the current circumstances with COVID-19, we are working diligently to create an online instructional platform that will provide a rigorous and robust educational experience for our students until we can return to in-person instruction.
Detailed updates will be posted here as we develop our plans to provide instruction for our students in the fall. The detailed overview, along with the current status of public health in the Azle ISD community, will help you make an informed decision on which method of instruction you prefer for your student(s).
Please note: Azle ISD's Return to School plans are subject to change, as public health guidelines are updated and the status of public health in the community changes.
