Welcome to Ms. Patterson's 2nd grade class.

I have taught elementary school for 23 years and 14 of those years have been at Silver Creek.

I am so glad to be teaching 2nd grade at Silver Creek.

We are off to a great start for 2012-2013.

Students will be learning so many things this year and expanding on their reading and math.

2nd grade will be takinbg their BOY (beginning of year) TPRI Reading test soon. This will be administered one on one and will assess your child's reading level and fluency.

Second grade does many funy activities including a Flat Stanley Unit and a wonderful Gingerbread Unit in December. We also have many more exciting units throughout the school year.

So all aboard for a fantastic year in 2nd grade.
