All AJHS students are required to wear a student ID. Students will be issued their ID's September 7th when Glamorcraft is on campus taking yearbook photos. Student's who lose or damage their ID, must purchase a new one for $5.00. Any student who does not wear their ID badge will receive disciplinary consequences. |

The Hornet Hive is open in the library every morning, 7:30am-7:50am, for students to finish homework, or receive peer tutoring assistance.
Begining the week of October 1, 2012 through May, 2013, after-school tutoring will be available in the library from 3:15pm-4:30pm. Transportation is not provided. Students need to be picked up promptly at 4:30.
Two teachers will be assisting students in the following content areas :
Mondays & Wednesdays - Math and Science
Tuesdays & Thursdays - English Language Arts and History
If your child is struggling or just needs a little extra help, tutoring is available for them throughout the week. |

Planners are required for all students. Planner replacement charge is $5.00. Planners will be used as hall passes this year therefore all student must have their planners with them at all times. Parents will be able to check planners for daily assignments as students will be entering information for each class into their planner. |

Bring Your Own Technology
Students have been given permission to bring their own technology from home beginning Monday, September 10th.
Guidelines are as follows:

Azle Junior High and Azle ISD are not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen devices. Students must keep up with their own devices.

Students are allowed to use in the mornings in the gym prior to first bell, and during lunch.

Students will be allowed to use devices in their classroom only if teachers have given them permission.

Students must use the Azle ISD Wi-Fi network.
-
Students using their device in the classroom without permission from the teacher are subject to having their device confiscated; parents will need to pick the device up in the office ($15 fee).

Ear buds/headphones must be used if listening to music or video.
-
Devices include: tablets, smartphones, netbooks/notebooks, Kindles, iPods/MP3, laptops, etc.

T his is a privilege for students, if the privilege is abused it may be revoked.
