I am begining my 27th year in education. I taught my first four years at Walnut Creek as a 1st grade and 4th grade teacher. Since then I have had the opportunities to teach 3rd grade, GT classes in 1st through 6th grades, special education, and home-bound students. This year is my 12th year as Walnut Creek Elementary's guidance counselor. My goals are to assist your child with strategies to improve his/her academic success, develop social skills, and strengthen coping strategies. Because of the growth of state required testing and reporting, I assist our school in acquiring and completing the proper assessments. Although quite time consuming, these tests have proved our school to be exemplary for many years. |
